Hayes Carll is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter from Texas. His 2011 album KMAG YOYO & Other American Stories landed on many year-end best-of lists and was included in Rolling Stone's "50 Country Albums Every Rock Fan Should Own" list. Hayes just released his anticipated fifth album Lovers and Leavers to universal acclaim. It is his first album in five years and was recorded live in the studio with producer Joe Henry. The New York Times said the album "is full of tunes that feel cracked wide open: earnest, self-reflective, unguarded" while Paste Magazine has called it "the finest work of his career." This is Hayes' Fidelity High: Bob Dylan // Bringing It All Back Home // Columbia Records // 1965. Hayes says, "Chock full of iconic songs and explosive sounds, littered with lines and phrases that would become part of the English lexicon, a revolutionary mix of rock and roll and folk, and the lyrically heaviest b-side I've ever heard - Bringing It All Back Home felt to me not just like it was from another place, but from another planet. So many Dylan records inspired me, but this one hit all the sweet spots, and blew open the doors of what was possible for a songwriter."
