The Amazing Kreskin

Entertainer, Mentalist

The Amazing Kreskin is a world famous entertainer with mentalist capacities who has stunned audiences for six decades.  In 1966 Milton Bradley released the Kreskin's ESP board game and from 1970 to 1975, he starred in his own popular television show The Amazing World of Kreskin which is now available via Hulu.  He appeared on The Tonight Show 61 times throughout the 70's and 80's as well as Late Night with David Letterman throughout the 80's and early 90s.  He also predicted the 2012 Presidential Election 18 months before Election Day on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.  The 2008 major motion picture The Great Buck Howard is based on writer & director Sean McGinly's experience spent as Kreskin's road manager.   It stars Tom and Colin Hanks, Emily Blunt, and John Malkovich as Buck Howard, a character heavily based on the life and work of Kreskin.  In March of this year, he published his 20th book In Real Time and at 81 years old, Kreskin to this day performs over 200 dates a year.  This is Kreskin's Fidelity High: Liberace // The Excitement Of Mr. Showman // Pickwick // 1967.   He says "The Piano has been an important vehicle and passion in my life since I first sat down to play by ear, in my pre-teens, after marching in an Italian parade with my grandfather, then walking into their house and sitting at the piano and playing for the first time the song that was the theme of the march.  Being Polish, I’ve had a passion for one of the greatest composers in history and if there are any albums that have hit home and have touched me deeply it is the late Liberace’s rendition of Chopin.  There have been many popular songs based on Chopin’s themes, and no one better exemplified and communicated to the public with greater fervor than did Liberace when he sat at the piano in white tie and tails and played some of the great piano music of Polish born, Frederic Chopin."
